As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with individuals onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to situations as appropriate, including emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for any security-related issues, and report observations in accordance with site policies.
• Document activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately in daily reports or logs, as required by the location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal supervisors, providing information or assistance as needed.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and Allied Universal procedures relevant to technology, media, and telecom environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
