Security Officer - Alarm Panel Patrol

As a Security Officer - CRE Alarm Panel Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, provide excellent customer service, and use your communication skills to assist visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter of the commercial real estate location to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and to observe any unusual activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with property management and/or building staff as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance to tenants, visitors, and employees as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
