Description we are partnering with a global investment firm committed to delivering innovative financial solutions. As part of a strategic office relocation in San Francisco, we are seeking a reliable and professional Technical Support Specialist to ensure a smooth transition and continued IT support for our team. Position Summary We are looking for a self-motivated and presentable IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 technical support during the decommissioning of our current office and setup of the new site. This role requires hands-on experience with workstation setup, troubleshooting, and user support in a fast-paced, professional environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide on-site Level 1 IT support to end users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. * Set up and configure workstations, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals. * Assist with the decommissioning of IT equipment and infrastructure at the current site. * Support the setup and deployment of IT infrastructure at the new office location. * Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and deployment. * Collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate and resolve issues beyond Level 1. * Ensure all work is performed with minimal disruption to business operations. Requirements * 2+ years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles. * Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking. * Experience with workstation setup and hardware troubleshooting. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Professional demeanor suitable for a financial services environment. * Experience in office moves or site transitions is a plus * Must be available to work on-site in San Francisco. * May require occasional lifting/moving of IT equipment. * Business attire required. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
