As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment within a chemical or petrochemical setting.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities in accordance with established procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to address security-related concerns specific to the location.
• Follow all established protocols for access control, visitor management, and emergency preparedness relevant to the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Remain alert to environmental and operational hazards unique to the location and report any concerns through the proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
