Job Description




As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible throughout the property, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter within the commercial real estate location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents on the premises to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents, following site-specific reporting procedures.
  • Work closely with property management, tenants, and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Follow all company and client policies, procedures, and site-specific instructions while performing security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
