As a Patrol Armed Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location by conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help to deter potential security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity or potential threats, documenting and reporting findings according to established protocols.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior.
• Follow all post orders and security-related instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
