As a Security Officer - Utilities Site - Weekdays in Freehold, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence and proactive approach support the protection of critical infrastructure while delivering top-tier customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with site-specific tasks such as logging visitor information and maintaining detailed activity reports.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Follow all company and client protocols regarding security-related incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
