As a Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time in Lewisville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control responsibilities, monitoring the flow of personnel and vehicles in and out of the premises. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Conduct security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols established for logistics environments.
• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by assisting with directions, answering questions, and addressing concerns as they relate to access control.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Collaborate with site management and other team members to maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.
• Support the enforcement of company policies regarding deliveries, pickups, and vendor access within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
