Job Overview

The Project Manager independently leads and drives the work of project team members on medium- to high-complexity initiatives, delivering results with minimal oversight. This role demonstrates consistent leadership in conflict management, influence, and accountability for project outcomes, as recognized by project sponsors. The Project Manager applies established project management practices to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, while serving as a technical and professional leader who provides guidance, direction, and training to project team members as needed.

What You Will Do



  • Manage day-to-day project activities and maintain full accountability for execution, final delivery, and product release.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, status, resources, deliverables, risks, issues, and timelines in partnership with application managers, business partners, and project teams.
  • Lead regular project status and quality meetings; provide timely, transparent updates to management and key stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Define project metrics, support scorecard development, and obtain customer approval of project plans to formalize the project management approach.
  • Ensure deadlines are met through effective resource planning, prioritization, delegation, and ongoing follow-up on individual and team progress.
  • Facilitate communication and negotiation within and across project teams; escalate risks and issues to appropriate leadership levels as needed.
  • Provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle; coach, mentor, and share best practices with less experienced Project Managers.
  • Lead formal project closeout by securing sponsor/customer acceptance and confirming all deliverables meet agreed scope, quality standards, and organizational requirements.
  • Contribute to staffing, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure adequate project support.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Skills You Will Need

Project Management & Delivery Excellence - Proven ability to lead medium- to high-complexity projects end to end, managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.

Leadership, Influence & Accountability - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams with minimal oversight; effectively influences stakeholders, manages conflict, and holds teams accountable for project performance.

Stakeholder Communication & Alignment - Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at tailoring messaging to diverse audiences, facilitating collaboration, and maintaining transparency with sponsors and senior stakeholders.

Planning, Organization & Prioritization - Highly organized with strong time-management skills; excels at resource planning, prioritization, delegation, and balancing multiple concurrent initiatives.

Risk Management & Problem Solving - Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks; proactively drives corrective actions and adapts plans in response to changing conditions.

Agile & Delivery Methodologies - Solid understanding of project management methodologies, with experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Lean, XP, LeSS) and across varying delivery models.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking - Strong analytical and reasoning abilities; translates business needs and organizational context into actionable project plans aligned with enterprise goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Effective at building consensus across technical and business partners; works through others to achieve shared objectives and remove execution barriers.

Financial & Resource Management - Experience contributing to staffing plans, budgeting, and capital expenditure tracking throughout the project lifecycle, including coordination with procurement processes.

Technical Tools & Systems Proficiency - Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams/Team Sites; capable of supporting project documentation, collaboration, reporting, and workflow management.

Adaptability & Change Management - Flexible and responsive to change; quickly acclimates to new requirements, tools, and project types in fast-paced environments.

Retail & Enterprise Environment Acumen - Experience operating within complex, enterprise or retail organizations, with an understanding of how projects impact broader operational and customer outcomes.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 3-4 years of experience in successful project management, with a progression in responsibility.
  • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
