The Role:

The Floorperson will monitor and control an area of a pit consisting of one or more games to assure the delivery of guest service standards are met. They will maintain the integrity of the games department and assist with ensuring all game operations follow the company polices/ procedures and the internal controls. Ensure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience for guests. Provides outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.

Responsibilities:



  • Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
  • Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
  • Assumes overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for an assigned area.
  • Maintains constant awareness of activities of all games in assigned area locations in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity.
  • Controls and directs games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction.
  • Maintains awareness of how each games stands with respect to player limits, special guests, gains/losses, and dealer performance.
  • Ability to understand and use casino tracking programs. Use computers to complete reports, look up player information, lookup table information, and comp issues.
  • Ensure all table games department team members are providing optimum service to all guests.
  • Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
  • Complete all government reporting.
  • Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
  • Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED, required
  • 2 years of table games experience, required
  • 1 year of supervisory experience, preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to frequently stand and walk.
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming License
