Job Description




As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the healthcare environment.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and general information as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters.
  • Follow all protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident documentation as required by the site.
  • Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings to help to deter unauthorized activity within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
