AI Product Intern - Summer 2026

We're looking for a highly motivated product intern who's excited about shaping the future of AI products-from idea to implementation. If you're passionate about product design and ownership, and you thrive at the intersection of AI, prototyping, and user experience, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

As an AI Product Intern, you'll be the one-stop shop for a focused product initiative. You'll take ownership of a proof-of-concept project that blends cutting-edge AI technology with meaningful user experience. This includes:

• Conducting user and market research to uncover needs and opportunities
• Defining the product vision and roadmap
• Designing and prototyping core experiences
• Implementing a functional proof of concept (POC)
• Presenting your final work to senior leadership

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business leads. Communication and collaboration are key-expect to engage with a variety of stakeholders across departments.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong interest in AI and product ownership
• Familiarity with modern AI/ML technologies (especially LLMs)
• Understanding of core machine learning principles
• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas
• Great communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with sensors or sensor data
• Exposure to data engineering or data fusion
• Knowledge of prompt engineering
• Interest in agentic AI or autonomous systems
• Experience developing mobile apps or working with mobile device sensors

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC
• Previous Product Management experience is preferred
