Network Engineer - US

Position Summary

As a Network Engineer at Diasorin, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing our global network infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities



  • Strategic Network Architecture: Assist in design, build, and maintaining complex network solutions supporting international operations, ensuring maximum security, performance, and availability.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Help lead technical reviews, document and champion global design standards, and drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Business Partnership: Assist in interpreting business requirements and set strategic direction for network evolution, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Global Project Leadership: Be part of team that owns worldwide architecture for major initiatives, including but not limited to data center design, WAN integration, and disaster recovery.
  • Operational Excellence: Help ensure 24x7x365 reliability of internal and client systems, proactively monitor performance, and drive rapid resolution of issues with service providers and vendors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, documentation, and change management processes. Identify barriers and recommend innovative alternatives.
  • Support & Collaboration: Provide Tier 1-3 support for network and security devices and services.



Education, Experience, and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 6+ years of progressive experience in network engineering.


  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols), network topologies, and network devices (firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Hands on experience with enterprise class switches, wireless, firewalls (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto)


  • Experience designing and supporting wireless networks, firewalls, and multi-homed Internet providers with public ASN and IPv4 addresses.
  • Strong background in disaster recovery, data replication, and infrastructure documentation.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and ITIL Foundations is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.


  • Ability to multi-task effectively and be detailed oriented.


  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to support global operations.
