Do you get excited about the planning of a part or a factory to secure timely shipment of our most advanced lithography systems? Do you have good organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills? We are looking for a candidate who is good at solving complex planning problems to achieve ASML's business target including the commercial product output and customer service requirement in the most efficient and economical way.

As Wilton Factory Planning team intern, you will help us shape the future of factory planning through automation, analytics, and process improvement. Which allows you:

Your assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve reliability and automate scheduling strategies, safety stock/buffer strategies across all products.
  • Improve KPI logic and calculations to ensure accurate performance measurement and actionable insights.
  • Develop simulation models for forecasting work in progress (WIP) and capacity planning.
  • Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks.
  • Apply industrial engineering principles such as process mapping, kanban implementation, Constrained Resource Allocation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation solutions to streamline planning processes and reduce manual efforts.
  • Apply data visualization tools (Spotfire, Tableau) to analyze trends and build dynamic dashboards for KPI monitoring.
  • Build and reorganize SharePoint sites to improve data accessibility, implement controlled access for sensitive information, and archive outdated files/data.

Your profile

Education & Background

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (Senior) or Master's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong foundation in: Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, Data Analysis & Machine Learning, Coding (Advanced Python) / Visualization Tool for automation and data processing and/or Familiarity with SharePoint development.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Industrial engineering, operations research concepts (e.g., time study, forecasting, Kanban) or operations management
  • Proficiency in data analysis, Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to SAP ERP systems or manufacturing planning tools.
  • Coding (python) data visualization and reporting tools.
Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.).
