Intern Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40-hours per week during the summer break.

Dates of Internship: May 26, 2026 - August 14, 2026 (with possible part-time extension into Fall 2026)

The internship program is designed to provide a foundation of technical knowledge and professional experience while giving students the opportunity to learn about the natural gas industry and its distribution. To foster professional growth and development, interns are expected to work on individual and team projects that includes field work. All interns who participate in the summer internship program are expected to share their end of summer internship experiences and lessons learned to Company management.

What qualities/criteria is your department looking for in a successful/ideal intern candidate?

  • Intern candidate must be an actively enrolled student at an accredited college and/or university.
  • Candidates must have at least completed their freshman year and majoring in fields related to the Company.
  • Commitment to interning for a minimum of forty (40) hours per week for the summer and a minimum of ten (10) hours a week for the fall semester.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0, or
  • Most recent semester/quarter GPA greater than or equal to 3.0
  • Unofficial transcript submittal is required

Beyond the minimum internship qualifications posted on the intern portal, what additional qualifications must this candidate have?

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program

Salary Details

Minimum $25 per hour

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) under Title 49 CFR Part 382 and Part 40. Any applicant/employee who performs a DOT covered function or is licensed and would operate a commercial vehicle for the Company will be subject to drug and alcohol testing under the Company's DOT drug and alcohol testing programs. Any employment, transfer, or promotion offer made for this position is contingent upon taking and passing a drug test prior to the commencement of the new role. If an applicant/employee fails the drug test, any offer of employment, transfer, or promotion will be revoked.
