Position Title: Packager
Wage: $20.75/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:45pm - 12:45am (Monday - Thursday) Be part of a fast-paced production environment on 2nd shift, working four 10-hour shifts per week, and play a direct role in delivering high-quality health and wellness products to customers nationwide. This hands-on role in Wausau, WI focuses on operating and monitoring packaging equipment, performing detailed visual inspections, and ensuring products are accurately filled, labeled, packed, and palletized to exact standards. Ideal for a self-motivated individual who values precision, consistency, and teamwork, this position offers a consistent schedule, clear expectations, and the opportunity to contribute to a regulated, quality-driven manufacturing operation. Packager Responsibilities: - Ensuring machine is labeling and filling bottles of pills properly - Placing filled bottles into boxes by hand - Monitoring machine to ensure caps are placed on bottles correctly - Performing visual inspection of products as they move along the conveyor belt - Removing defective products from the line - Taping and labeling packages - Palletizing finished packages Requirements for Packager: - High School Diploma - Knowledge of GMP's preferred - Previous experience working in a food environment preferred - Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedures - Able to work effectively with various departments - Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision - Able to lift 30-40 pounds throughout the day - Able to push and pull up to 100 pounds as needed - Able to work in a fast-paced environment - Able to stand and walk up to 12 hours per day - Able to reach across conveyor belts - Able to work on a conveyor belt - Able to bend, twist, reach and crouch throughout shift wausau@qpsemployment.com IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
