General Description: The Maintenance Specialist II is responsible for performing a wide range of routine maintenance tasks while continuing to develop technical skills and knowledge of company policies and procedures. This role supports building and plant operations and assists the facilities team with projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems. Work is performed under the close supervision of the Facilities Supervisor or Manager and generally follows established procedures. The Maintenance Specialist II handles semi-routine assignments, understands when minor deviations from standard practices are appropriate, and receives guidance on new or unfamiliar tasks. This position may work closely with outside vendors and actively participates in P5S initiatives. The duties listed below are representative of the position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
