The Risk Management Supervisor supports the company's global insurance and risk management programs and is responsible for insurance administration, claims management, and risk-related financial reporting. This role partners closely with Finance, Legal, HR, EHS, brokers, insurers, and third-party service providers to ensure programs are effectively managed, financially accurate, and aligned with enterprise risk objectives. This role is not remote/hybrid and will report to our Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Insurance Program Procurement and Support
Oversee the administration of global insurance programs Review and approve underwriting data, renewal submissions, and broker deliverables to ensure quality and consistency. Partner with leadership to support insurance procurement decisions, program structure, and financing strategies. Ensure appropriate documentation, monitoring, and communication of insurance coverage and program changes to key stakeholders.
Relationship Management
Act as a key point of contact with Finance, Legal, HR, EHS, and operating leaders to align insurance and claims activities with business needs. Support and participate in broker, insurer, and vendor meetings related to renewals, claims, loss control, and service performance. Oversee vendor relationships supporting loss control programs, third-party claims administration, and inspections, ensuring service quality and contract compliance.
Claims Management
Provide oversight of property and liability claims to ensure timely, effective, and consistent handling by internal resources and third-party administrators. Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-exposure claims, partnering with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, legal counsel, HR, and EHS as needed. Review claim reserves for accuracy, adequacy, and timeliness to support reliable financial reporting and forecasting. Facilitate strategic claim discussions to drive resolution outcomes and mitigate financial and operational risk. Participate in mediations and trials with internal and external legal counsel.
Financial Management and Reporting
Oversee departmental accounting activities, including monthly accruals, reconciliations, premium allocations, and captive reporting. Ensure integrity of risk management and claims data used for enterprise reporting, analysis, and decision-making. Support development of management reporting that identifies loss trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for risk mitigation.
Compliance, Governance, and Special Projects
Ensure compliance with internal risk management policies, insurance requirements, and applicable regulations. Oversee inputs and reporting related to the company's insurance captive. Review contracts for insurance language compliance in partnership with Legal and Procurement. - Support department initiatives including acquisition integration, system enhancements, policy updates, and vendor RFPs.

- 5+ years of Insurance/Claims Management or Finance experience
Skill set includes leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, decision-making abilities, organizational skills, excellent (oral and written) communication skills, and a capability to work independently. Experience working in a cross-functional team environment to implement process improvement
