Here's what you'd do:

  • The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international regulatory requirements for procured products while supporting client ESG procurement initiatives.
  • This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining systems, data, and supplier relationships that uphold environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards across the supply chain.
  • Support client ESG procurement initiatives to ensure Ceres' compliance with domestic and international ESG regulations and client policies.
  • Coordinate ESG data activities with Gecia and lead supplier outreach to gather and maintain needed compliance data for procured components, including:
    1. Chemical Compliance: PFAs, REACH, Conflict Minerals
    2. Governance & Business Partners: Environmental management, RBA SAQ, Prohibited/Declarable lists
    3. Supplier Sustainability: Ecovadis, Science-Based Targets
    4. Trade Compliance: Supplier Origin and Long-Term Declarations, Russian steel/iron reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external ESG stakeholders, including customers, to fulfill data requests.
  • Deliver ESG training to suppliers to maintain alignment with regulatory and client policy requirements.
  • Monitor and stay current with evolving ESG, trade, and sustainability regulations and client policies.
  • Develop and manage systems linking compliance data to Ceres part, manufacturer, and supplier records for easy access.
  • Prepare and present ESG compliance reports and findings to leadership.
  • This role operates in a global supply chain context, supporting both domestic and international compliance initiatives.
  • The work involves frequent coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders, responding to planned and ad-hoc data requests to ensure continuous regulatory adherence and ESG transparency.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, environmental health & safety
  • Minimum 2 years of Procurement experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with ERP systems and compliance tracking tools.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with applicable ESG regulations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Have strong written, verbal, and multitasking skills.
