Position Summary

The Document Control Specialist supports quality systems by maintaining and implementing documentation and change management processes. This role serves as a quality representative within their area of expertise and supports cross-functional change activities to ensure documentation accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide timely and accurate administrative support to the department
  • Support documentation and change management activities as required
  • Manage the Change Request (CR) process, including: CR creation and submission review, Implementation coordination, Document issuance and controlled distribution
  • Communicate CR status and issues with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all changes comply with document control policies and procedures
  • Assist with gathering change metrics and preparing reports
  • Interpret and apply corporate documentation requirements to local documentation needs
  • Catalog hardcopy files for off-site storage
  • Perform data entry and create labels for on-site equipment
  • Review and create documentation as needed



What We're Looking For



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of related document control or quality system experience
  • Experience with BM RAM Asset Management Tool, Windchill Document Control System, or other related programs
  • Background in regulated industries (medical devices, life sciences, or manufacturing) is a plus
