On behalf of our client, we're looking for a UI/UX Designer (2-5 years) with standout visual design skills to join a fast-moving design team supporting a high-profile brand. In this freelance role, you'll partner closely with a Senior Designer to craft clean, intuitive, and visually polished digital experiences. You'll contribute across workflows, UI design, and prototyping, bringing ideas to life while helping maintain consistency, usability, and design excellence across the product.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Support a Senior Designer (or design team) in delivering UX and UI design for product features and enhancements.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI based on requirements, best practices, and direction from senior teammates.
  • Apply strong visual design fundamentals (layout, typography, hierarchy, spacing, color) to produce polished interfaces.
  • Produce prototypes to help communicate interactions and gather feedback.
  • Participate in critiques and reviews-incorporating feedback quickly while improving craft and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to clarify requirements, refine designs, and support implementation.
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and user-centered decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

COMPENTENCY:

  • Holds an understanding of digital product design principles, including accessibility, usability, and user-centered design.
  • Ability to create impactful digital experiences that are aligned with business goals, user needs, and brand standards.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices and usability testing methods.
  • Present work with clear rationale, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly without losing design quality.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in digital design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Visual/UI Design (or equivalent)
  • A portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and visual/UI execution (not just final screens).
  • Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset, comfortable asking questions and learning through feedback.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma (preferred) or similar.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong collaboration skills, comfortable partnering, giving/receiving feedback.
  • Strong visual craft: composition, typography, spacing, and consistency across screens.
  • You collaborate smoothly with senior designers and cross-functional partners, helping projects move forward.
  • You grow your skills quickly through feedback, iteration, and learning-by-doing.
  • A creative and collaborative spirit to build strong relationships.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced, collaborative, and global. Engages with cross-disciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, and Communications. Focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
