(Depending on experience) Schedule: 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday (with overtime sometimes required on a Friday (same schedule) or Saturday 5am - 11am. CNC Machinist essential tasks: Prioritize safety, use PPE, follow lockout/tagout, and report hazards for timely repair Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan machining operations Set up, operate, and adjust machines (mills, lathes, grinders) including CNC controls Verify part dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools Install, repair, and test machinery parts; operate welding equipment as needed Collaborate with engineers, production, and maintenance to resolve issues Manage inventory updates, document non-conforming parts, and build manufacturing tools Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent plus 4 years machinist experience, or 6 years related experience/training, or equivalent combination Proficient in CAD software and CNC programming Able to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T principles Wabtec offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with match, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, uniform allowance, and all supplies/tools provided.
