About the role:

As a Senior Manager, Global Benefits, you will be the subject matter expert for our health and welfare benefits programs. You are responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and administration of benefits that support our culture and overall, our goals. You will provide oversight and coordination for nonU.S. programs through collaboration with regional benefits team and HR country partners to ensures agreement on global benefits principles, compliance with local regulations, and a consistent employee experience across regions. You will report to the Senior Director, Total Rewards. This is a 100% remote role.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Be the senior subject matter expert and primary owner of U.S. health and welfare benefits, maintaining deep working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.





  • Provide strategic guidance for non-U.S. health and welfare programs in partnership with regional benefits team and HR Country Partners in EMEA and APAC.





  • Partner with brokers to support program design, renewals, compliance activities, and vendor performance across regions.





  • Lead strategic evaluations and benchmarking of benefit programs to ensure competitiveness, cost effectiveness, and agreement on company culture and our priorities.





  • Lead the U.S. annual open enrollment process end to end, including coordination with carriers, TPAs, brokers, and company partners; oversee development of employee communications, tools, and processes.





  • Provide strategic oversight of the health and welfare portfolio, including renewals, change management, forecasting, and budget planning.





  • Ensure benefits programs and practices comply with applicable U.S. regulatory and reporting requirements; support regional partners with compliance oversight at a governance level.





  • Improve benefits administration processes, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and employee experience.





  • Oversee leave of absence (LOA) programs and administration in the U.S., ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.





  • Partner with Payroll and HR Operations to ensure accurate benefit deductions and issue resolution.





  • Manage benefits budgets, focusing on financial sustainability and cost management.





  • Analyze benefits and HR data to deliver insights and reporting to HR and executive leadership; improve benefits and HR systems to meet our needs.





  • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for U.S. benefits and provide oversight inputs for global vendor relationships.





  • Be the senior advisor to employees and leaders on benefits programs, policies, and complex issues.





  • Support M&A, restructuring, and redundancy projects, including benefits due diligence and execution.




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance degree preferred.



  • Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.



  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing health and welfare benefits, with expertise in U.S. programs; exposure to international benefits programs strongly preferred.



  • CEBS or CBP designation preferred.





We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $126,000 to $157,500 per year.
