What you will do Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Forecasting & Inventory to join our Global Parts Planning organization. As an experienced leader on this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate forecast to allow for seamless service parts execution while improving inventory health and overseeing the system and process improvements required to support growing complexities to best serve our customers. This global role will collaborate with all regions and business units, taking on the responsibility of creating accurate forecasts, efficient inventory plans, and defining and executing the global sales and operations planning (S&OP) process. Success in this role will increase service levels, drive inventory optimization, and enable revenue growth and margin improvement for the business. This is a great opportunity for someone to develop and implement a global inventory planning program from the ground up! How you will do it The Senior Manager of Global Forecasting & Inventory will use historical data, market trends, and customer demand insights to develop precise forecast for aftermarket service parts. They will also design and implement inventory strategies to improve inventory turns while meeting service level targets, manage and reduce the use of excess and obsolete inventory globally, as well as develop best practices in inventory management by defining segmentation, safety stock optimization and replenishment parameters. Get ready to collaborate with regional planning and Field service teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment with global objectives! You will lead the development and implementation of the global sales and operations planning process, ensuring alignment with the organizations overall strategic objectives.
