As a valued intern within our team you will have the opportunity for frequent interaction across multiple functions of the organization and gain real life experience and perform meaningful work that will prepare you for the right start to your career! This position will be responsible for supporting Data Engineering initiatives within the Advanced Analytics & AI division of HSB. The intern will assist in building and maintaining high-quality, analytics-ready datasets and help support the technical data environment used for analytical and machine learning model development. The successful candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and IT partners to enhance data management capabilities, support analytics workflows, and contribute to model development, monitoring, and MLOps-related activities. Responsibilities may include preparing modeling datasets, integrate internal and external data sources, and supporting data pipelines used across analytics and AI use cases. The role will provide hands-on exposure to modern data engineering tools and cloud-based analytics platforms, including working with structured and semi-structured data using SQL and Python. This position is intended for a graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and offers practical experience in enterprise-scale data and AI environments.
