Position Title: Quality Control
Wage: $22/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Quality Control role for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Quality Control Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Maintain and report conformance to specifications through inspection of raw material, working process/finished goods - Review the production process for conformance to quality standards - Report and track any significant deviations from quality standards - Recommend corrective action as necessary to management - Assist with GMP audits to ensure quality compliance - Perform line checks on regular basis - Perform and document a variety of laboratory tests - Maintain area in a clean, orderly and safe manner - Follow food quality and safety guidelines Quality Control Requirements: - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to bend, crouch, kneel throughout shift (8-10 hours) - Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division - Ability to follow written and verbal directions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
