Aquent is partnering with a global leader in the energy sector, a company at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence. This organization is deeply committed to shaping the future of energy, driving efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment where every team member contributes to significant global impact. Join us and play a pivotal role in ensuring critical, enterprise-wide initiatives are clearly communicated, understood, and embraced across a vast and diverse workforce. Your expertise will directly influence the success of strategic transformations, making a tangible difference in how information flows and decisions are made at a grand scale.

Are you a master communicator with a passion for simplifying complex information and driving change through compelling narratives? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to champion communications for a groundbreaking enterprise transformation program. This is an incredible opportunity to be the central voice, shaping how vital updates and strategic directions are conveyed to thousands, ensuring clarity, alignment, and successful adoption across the organization. You will be instrumental in translating technical advancements into accessible language, fostering understanding, and empowering teams to navigate significant evolution.

**What You'll Do:**

As the dedicated communications expert for a major strategic initiative, you will own the entire communication lifecycle, ensuring seamless and impactful messaging. Your contributions will include:

  • Strategic Communication Leadership: Serve as the single point of contact for all communications related to a critical enterprise initiative, developing and maintaining the communication plan, calendar, distribution lists, templates, and messaging standards.
  • Proactive Engagement & Planning: Integrate early into planning forums to strategically shape messaging, segment audiences, determine optimal timing, select appropriate channels, and establish clear approval paths.
  • Compelling Content Creation: Draft, edit, and localize diverse communication materials-including announcements, FAQs, internal posts, leadership briefs, talking points, and presentation content-translating technical and project updates into clear, audience-appropriate language.
  • Targeted Distribution Management: Build and maintain precise distribution lists and audience segmentation to ensure messages reach the correct stakeholder groups, avoiding information overload.
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Consensus:Coordinate and consolidate input from various program owners and cross-functional teams to prevent conflicting directions, facilitating streamlined approval workflows.
  • Quality Assurance & Editorial Oversight: Enforce rigorous editorial standards, challenging overly technical or misaligned content, advocating for simplification or segmentation, and refining audience targeting as needed.
  • Impact Measurement & Iteration: Track communication metrics (e.g., open rates, click-throughs, feedback) and conduct rapid post-communication reviews to continuously enhance clarity and effectiveness.
  • Resource Advocacy: Proactively identify and escalate resourcing or alignment risks to program leadership, recommending scope reallocation or additional support when workload demands exceed capacity.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, change management communications, or program communications, specifically supporting large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a proven ability to simplify complex technical content for broad audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience managing distribution lists, utilizing internal communication tools (intranet/email platforms), and navigating approval workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including the ability to consolidate diverse input and drive alignment among various parties.
  • Solid project management capabilities, with comfort operating under tight deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level technology or transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with engagement analytics and change-management communication methodologies.
