As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will make routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control for employees, drivers, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document activity, and deliver a customer-first experience while working with a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, screen and/or verify employee, visitor and contractor entry, and help to maintain orderly truck, trailer and delivery traffic flow at gates and dock areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, suspicious activity and property damage, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Document and report security-related activities, patrol observations and incident details using written logs and electronic reporting tools, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
