Job Description




As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, badge and/or credential checks as required, and support of restricted-area access procedures.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation, communicate key information during shift turnover, and coordinate with nursing staff and/or facility teams regarding observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
