Security Officer - Urgent Care Patrol

As a Security Officer - Urgent Care Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related issues, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns while documenting observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, assist with visitor directions and/or wayfinding, and report concerning behavior or unauthorized entry attempts per site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
