As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Bland, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to issues as they arise with professionalism and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization per site procedures, directing individuals to the proper check-in process and reporting discrepancies.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
