As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Rounds in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, support access control and badge activity as needed, and deliver clear communication and customer service, while living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, equipment rooms, and perimeter points, documenting observations per post orders.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs per site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and incident notifications in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete accurate reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
