As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering welcoming customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, so you will use a valid driver's license to support patrol coverage as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and/or policy violations, and communicate updates to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas such as corridors, lobbies, and parking areas, as well as the exterior perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access points by monitoring entrances, directing visitors to check-in areas, verifying identification when required, and assisting with visitor management practices in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or damaged property through established reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
