Security Officer - Hospital Rover Driver

As a Security Officer - Hospital Rover Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, so you may also move between areas as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify hazards, policy violations, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
• Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, verifying authorization as required, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate significant issues to site leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and maintaining chain of custody for found property when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• This hospital site requires vaccines.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
