We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Operations FP&A Business Partner to join our team in Charlton, MA. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of finance and operations, partnering closely with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to connect operational performance with financial results.

The Impact You'll Make

You'll serve as a strategic finance partner to operations-bringing strong cost accounting fundamentals, sharp analytical thinking, and business insight to drive profitability, cost transparency, and smarter decision-making.

What You'll Do:

Financial Planning

  • Lead annual operating and capital budgeting processes
  • Own forecasting cycles and deliver detailed variance analysis
  • Build financial models to support scenario planning and capital investments

Cost Accounting

  • Analyze manufacturing performance, COGS trends, overhead absorption, and inventory impacts

Operational Analytics & Insights

  • Develop and track KPIs across cost, efficiency, throughput, and quality
  • Maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) that translate data into actionable insights
  • Identify operational risks and opportunities with clear financial impact

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary finance advisor to operations and supply chain leaders
  • Develop ROI, payback, and NPV models for equipment and process investments
  • Present concise, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership

Continuous Improvement

  • Enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency
  • Streamline financial processes and improve governance across operations

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of FP&A or operations finance experience (manufacturing strongly preferred)
  • Strong cost accounting expertise (standard costing, inventory, variance decomposition)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • ERP experience (SAP or Oracle preferred)
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Ability to simplify complex financial data and influence cross-functional teams

Not required but helpful: MBA, capital investment modeling experience, and strong data storytelling skills.

Why This Role?

This is more than reporting-it's a seat at the table. You'll directly influence operational strategy, capital investments, and financial performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

If you thrive on turning operational data into financial insight and want to partner closely with leaders to drive measurable impact, we'd love to talk.

Travel up to 10%. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role. Must be commutable to Charlton, MA.
