Job Details
Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant - Lung Transplant is responsible for providing outpatient care to lung transplant recipients. Care of this population includes management of immunosuppression care of sensitized patients undergoing desensitization for transplantation and treatment for rejection. You will interact with many disciplinary teams in the care of transplant patients including surgery teams, cardiology, pulmonary, and critical care. Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessment of patients. Write specific orders within the limits of the practice agreement/scope of practice. Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with the attending or consulting team in order to adjust plans of care. The Lung Transplant APP provides outpatient clinical care management of 75-100 of complex lung transplant recipients. Lung Transplant Program Shifts: Day Shift

You must be fully credentialled by The Johns Hopkins Hospital medical board with staff privileges to start working. Salary Range: Minimum 58.60/hour - Maximum 90.83/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
