  • A Monday through Friday work schedule 7:00am - 3:00pm no weekends no call

What YOU Will Do:

  • Provide administrative, clerical, accounting, facility maintenance or other support as needed to maintain the workflow, organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy and lab;
  • Process, pack, and ship orders accurately
  • Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
  • Inspect products for damages; report as needed
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
  • Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
  • Prepare products for shipping
  • Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures
  • Manage month end billing procedures; Process billing for the pharmacy and prepare invoices for mailing;
  • Maintain purchase order log, and review corresponding invoices and validate for correct pricing and credit terms; Receive check requests or invoices from outside vendors, obtain required signatures for approval, research discrepancies, code and process invoices, and submit to Accounts Payable;
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and direct to appropriate staff member or take message from caller;
  • May take orders from customers and enter into system, if appropriately certified/registered as required by the Board of Pharmacy;
  • Manage month end billing procedures; Process billing for the pharmacy and prepare invoices for mailing;
  • Manage the accounts receivable credit and collections functions;
  • Respond to customer billing issues and negotiate resolutions;
  • Collect and review employee timesheets and transmit to payroll;
  • Notify Accounting department of requests for paid time off by staff members;
  • Prepare a variety of reports documenting pharmacy activities and submit to the home office on a periodic schedule or as requested;
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels; Order and receive equipment, supplies, and material for the pharmacy;
  • Receive, confirm and resolve packing list discrepancies and restock inventory as needed;
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow, to meet schedules and quality requirements;
  • Maintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition;
  • Make customer deliveries as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned;

What YOU Will Bring:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
  • Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
  • Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
  • 1+ years' experience in administrative support capacity, preferably in a medical or pharmaceutical environment;
  • Experience operating multiple phone lines, receiving calls, directing calls to appropriate team members, and taking thorough messages as necessary;
  • Strong organization skills along with effective time management skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Customer focused; team oriented;
  • Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 60 lbs.
