Pavion and our family of companies, including ION 247, are seeking a talented and motivated IT Managed Services Sales Consultant to join our ION 247 business unit. This IT Managed Services Sales Consultant will be focused on driving new SMB and Enterprise Level multi-site business opportunities from companies incorporated out of the Southeast Territory and potentially nation-wide.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Innovative, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent ION 247 and Pavion in a professional, ethical manner to gain a high level of confidence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Develop and execute a strong business plan, advanced selling skills, e.g., qualify prospects, lead generation, new business development, account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation, and contracts (closing).
  • Experience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities.
  • Identify target opportunities to 'take' large customer sales from our competitors where possible.
  • Serve as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their IT challenges (e.g., infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity risks, cloud adoption, operational downtime) to drive long-term results and become their trusted advisor.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience, preferably in the managed IT services or IT solutions business but at minimum a customer service-oriented business.
  • Valid Driver's License


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of the competitive managed IT landscape, MSP providers, and key influencers.
  • Proven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities in IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, or related fields.


Base salary: $80,000 to $95,000 plus uncapped commissions
