Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Manifest Entry Coordinator As a Manifest Entry Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring required paperwork that accompanies hazardous and nonhazardous waste are compliant with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Completes the entry of inbound waste manifests into MMS
  • Reviews all inbound manifest, Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) and shipping documents to verify the count, shipping description, profiled waste codes, underlying constituents and overall document completion
  • Coordinates with Customer Experience for inbound manifest discrepancies; follows up with Technical Services or Approvals to resolve all issues or holds with inbound waste manifests and assists with resolutions
  • Partners with Plant Supervisors to prioritize the unloading of container trucks
  • Maintains inventory records of containerized waste in the barcode system
  • Retrieves and inputs waste data into the Company MMS system
  • Verifies generator recertification of waste streams prior to unloading inbound waste loads
  • Coordinates the movement of containers managed through 10-Day transfer stations
  • Ensures manifest discrepancies are filed with manifests and are resolved in a timely manner; corrects original manifests with discrepancies
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization


Education

- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)


Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in the hazardous waste management industry (required)
