This is a full-time appointment that combines Spiritual Care and ACPE-certified education training (CEC). The role requires an experienced professional who applies spiritual care theories with a comprehensive understanding of the field, performing all responsibilities independently and analyzing diverse problems for solutions. The CEC will collaborate with the Center's Certified Educator to meet the UC Davis Health-accredited ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program requirements, including participation in Community of Practice groups. The appointment lasts 30 months or until completion of CEC Phase II, whichever comes first. The program may end if CPE faculty finds that progress does not align with certification standards.
