Internship Overview

The goal of the Business Operations Internship is to provide a well-rounded business management education to the intern. Intern will perform value-added activities for Mansfield while learning critical operational skills including business analytical reporting, analysis, project management skills, and shared services support.

In addition to learning business management skills which are transferable to any future career, the intern will walk away with a working knowledge of Mansfield's industry position, our suppliers, and our customers.

Internship Details:

  • General: Full-time, onsite paid internship ($20/hour)
  • Dates: May 18, 2026, through July 31, 2026 (Required)
  • Location: Corporate headquarters, Gainesville, GA

Monthly Activities

  • Update training manual for the LTL Dispatch team
  • Create new process documents to standardize best practices
  • Complete Sign off training documents with LTL Dispatch
  • Reporting documentation and presentation of data
  • Identify process that can be automated, and project manage the process with various departments
  • Project management skills (Microsoft office)

Key Projects

  • Training Manual for the LTL Dispatch
  • Tank mapping process to ensure all tanks are linked in system correctly
  • Minimize tank reporting and exceptions through automation
  • Polling failures and collaboration with FSS team and LTL &FTL Dispatch
  • Power BI report with system errors and stagnate readings

  • Develop working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  • Fuel Link/Saba/Training Manual for Customer Service
  • Proficiency using Entinuum (Mansfield's proprietary system)
  • Understand Fuel Industry
  • Proficiency in Project Management building
  • Fuel & Logistics Industry Knowledge

Requirements:

  • Current upcoming Junior or Senior pursuing a Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • Able to work 8am - 5pm, onsite in Gainesville, GA for 40 hours per week from May 18, 2026, through July 31, 2026.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - must be proficient in Pivot Tables and Lookups
  • Critical thinking and initiative
