The Product Compliance Specialist will provide guidance regarding applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations. Ensure that Bradley products comply with current domestic industry standards, regulations, and codes. Support the Product Compliance Group's work with SDO's to develop and revise standards to insure fair and unbiased design and performance requirements. Research, analyze, and interpret all domestic codes, standards, and regulations applicable to our industries (plumbing, mechanical, and emergency fixtures) and Bradley product lines. Perform all functions required to obtain and maintain accurate product listings.

This position reports to the Lead Product Compliance Specialist and is based onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Remain current with evolving domestic codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance in defining and specifying relevant codes, regulations, and standards for both new and existing Bradley products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product and regulatory compliance efforts. Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders by sharing expertise and insights related to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in New Product Development and Product Management teams. Complete the certification approval process for initial certification of products to appropriate listing agencies and testing laboratories.
  • Organize, interpret, and document compliance related records for Bradley products. Maintain certification and regulatory compliance documentation and ensure company-wide accessibility to these records.
  • Maintain compliance and regulatory submissions for domestic and international regulations.
  • Monitor and participate in certification agency audits and initiate corrective action, as required.
  • Evaluate material, process, and geometric data in scientific journals, supplier catalogs, industry documentation, and other sources to maintain current industry and product knowledge.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to LEED credits and product sustainability, providing documentation and guidance on environmental certifications, material transparency, and product attributes to support green building initiatives.
  • Lead supplier outreach campaigns to gather and validate compliance data related to Conflict Minerals, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, and TSCA regulations, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of packaging data to support Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance across all applicable states to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Other related duties and projects as required.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% throughout the year

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience interpreting and working with domestic codes, standards, and regulations, especially those related to plumbing, mechanical, and emergency fixtures. New graduates with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess the application of codes, standards, and regulations to new product designs and to obtain and maintain agency certifications.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including [insert checks], and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Menomonee Falls, WI location (Monday - Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
  • Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment.
