Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a full-time Treasury Management Tele Sales Representative to join our team at our Irvine office. The Tele Sales Representative plays a key role in driving deposit growth and expanding Treasury Management product adoption by proactively engaging both existing and prospective clients. This position focuses on delivering consultative outbound outreach to identify client needs, position solutions, and support a seamless onboarding experience. Reporting to the Treasury Management Tele Sales Leader, the representative executes targeted calling strategies to achieve individual deposit, revenue, and client retention goals. This role collaborates closely with the Treasury Management Sales team and branch partners to ensure clients receive timely support, guidance, and exceptional service experience.
Responsible for engaging existing and prospective clients to promote Treasury Management solutions. Executes outbound calling efforts to support deposit growth and product adoption. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treasury management products, market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Treasury Management team and branch partners to support client needs. Ensure all client calls meet compliance, quality, and documentation standards. Champion clients need and support product innovation based on market feedback. Resolve client escalations and ensure a smooth handoff to implementation team. Provide feedback to product teams on client trends, challenges, and feature opportunities. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
What you will do:
Partners across the Mechanics Bank organization to target and build opportunities for Treasury Services solutions and depository business. Ability to recognize and solve client's needs. Performs consultative relationship reviews. Execute market-based sales plans to target prospects and existing customers. Grows non-interest income and deposit interest income. Manages and maintains and accurate and timely sales pipeline. Represents Mechanics Bank and Treasury Services in internal and external settings. Enhance bank employees' knowledge of Treasury Management services for the purpose of developing business. Develop relationships with key internal bank business partners & support staff. Provides market-based knowledge, client/prospect feedback. Travel required: 0 - 10%
Who you are:
High School or GED preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of Treasury Management Service/Sales experience (preferred). Establishes working relationships with clients/prospects and colleagues with an ability to articulate ideas and solutions. Ability to work independently and have a strong acumen for business and relationship development. Ability to generate ideas to identify and drive the development of new business. Effective selling and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management, organizational, planning skills and customer skills Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources. Strong working relationship with the Treasury Management Sales Analyst and/or Team. Ability to use various PC and internet-based systems including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint and Excel for the role. Strong cultural sensitivity and awareness. Knowledge of credit and operational risk-ability to quantify potential exposure and advise the team. Ability to create proformas and understand formulas involved in analysis. Prepare and ensure proper execution of onboarding documentation for Treasury Management solutions to clients/prospects. Create presentations, reports, collateral review and design, product review and enhancements, portfolio, revenue, profitability, pricing, and other duties as requested. Excellent presentation skills to develop customized presentations for internal and external use. Provides client support and product knowledge in relation to treasury management services. Responsible for problem solving, and resolution of treasury management issues with prospects and clients. Review and respond to referrals from Retail colleagues requiring a fast-paced analysis and professional communication to deliver new revenue and manage expectations of Retail clients, prospects and colleagues.
