CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Site Engineer I to join our Land Development Team in Albany, NY, where you will support site planning, design, and permitting efforts for a wide variety of development projects. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your technical skills, learn from experienced professionals, and see projects progress from concept through construction while making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.

Assist in site planning and civil design tasks for land development projects, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layouts
• Support senior engineers in preparing site plans, construction drawings, technical reports, and permit applications for land development projects
• Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices
• Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in observing existing conditions, construction activities, and site constraints of land development projects

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
• No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
• Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
• Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

• Gain exposure to the full land development lifecycle-from due diligence and site design through permitting and construction
• Work on projects that shape neighborhoods, commercial developments, and public spaces

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
