Brands supported within the Metals segment include: Alumicor, EFCO, Linetec, and Tubelite. Job Overview Perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Check dimensions against blueprint or work order specifications. At this level, may perform finishing operations to correct rejected parts or assist with other production activities. Key Responsibilities Ability to use basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure product dimensions and features. Ability to read and understand basic product specifications and work instructions. Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed records of testing processes and outcomes. Identify and document any non-conformances or deviations from standards. Must be cross-trained and able to support all Quality Inspector I roles. Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures). Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.). Ability to follow blueprints. Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry). Work Environment The position is based in a manufacturing facility, which may involve exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and dust from production processes. Associates will frequently work near or with machinery with moving parts, following strict safety protocols. The facility operates on shift schedules with potential for overtime, including weekends, based on production needs.
