What you'll be doing...Verizon is seeking a visionary, security-minded Principal Engineer for a challenging role that encompasses network architecture design and implementation engineering. This Principal Engineer will join a team responsible for the complete front-to-end engineering, implementation, and support of solutions. This includes, but is not limited to, WAN, LAN, WLAN, Security, Voice, Transport, and Virtual technologies. In this position, your contribution goes beyond network management. You will be instrumental in defining the network's future by translating business requirements into high-performance, secure architectures, ensuring seamless and secure data flow across all designed systems. Responsibilities may include:
Working with internal system administrators (Windows and Linux) to prepare systems for operational use. Assist with troubleshooting system issues. Job may require after hours support outside of normal business hours.
