YOUR OPPORTUNITY


We have an exciting Facility Engineer Supervisor opportunity at our Guymon Plant. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall condition, functionality, and reliability of the facility infrastructure. This includes building maintenance, lighting systems (interior and exterior), plumbing, drains, flooring, concrete, dock doors, overhead doors, and general structural upkeep.


The Facility Supervisor ensures the plant remains safe, operational, and in top condition by leading internal teams and coordinating contractors across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, concrete, welding, and fabrication. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong blueprint reading skills, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and facility improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversee the overall condition, functionality, and reliability of the facility infrastructure (interior and exterior).
  • Lead building maintenance activities including lighting, plumbing, bathrooms, drains, flooring, and concrete repairs.
  • Manage dock doors, overhead doors, and garage doors, including inspections, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
  • Supervise installation of new drains, trench systems, and facility modifications as needed.
  • Coordinate internal teams and contractors across plumbing, electrical, welding, fabrication, and construction trades.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and facility drawings to support repairs and improvements.
  • Maintain inventory of critical facility parts to prevent downtime and delays.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for building systems and structural components.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies while managing costs effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance, building systems, or industrial infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, concrete repair, drains, and structural components
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and facility drawings
  • Experience managing dock doors, overhead doors, and related mechanical systems
  • Strong mechanical and fabrication aptitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills



Preferred:



  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience managing facility budgets and tracking maintenance costs
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, concrete, welding, construction)

  • A-shift
  • Interchangeable weekends off

  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Primarily an office environment with the need to work in the field.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is dependent on which environment you are in
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
