DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will oversee the administration and issuance of occupational licenses at the licensing office located within the Chester Downs Racetrack, which operates under the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission (PHRC). Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with the established rules and regulations governing horse racing, as well as enforcing these standards to maintain the integrity of the sport. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the licensing process, as you will be tasked with evaluating applications, conducting necessary background checks, and collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold the regulatory framework that supports fair and safe racing practices. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday; Tuesday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in public contact work, including two years of experience in field investigation or law enforcement work; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Professional experience in regulatory enforcement and compliance.
- Experience working with or around horses.
