On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.

Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.
  • Sustain and steward liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.

  • Perform thoughtful inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical equipment.

  • Conduct daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs.

  • Understand and follow correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site to ensure quality.

  • Support bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers.

  • Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements.

  • Collaborate in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems.

  • Active and valued member of the Emergency Response Team.

  • We look forward to supporting your completion of TGCM Tech 6 local OJT and qualification requirements within your first 12 months in the role.

  • Facilitate safety by managing Hazardous Work Permits.

  • Restore all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment to service.

  • Participate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance.

  • Support the development and training of TGCM contractors and Tech 5 colleagues as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of applicable site-specific work instructions.

  • Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.

  • Complete assigned tasks following established team procedures.

  • Perform analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures with attention to detail.

  • Dedicated to the care and safety of all persons, and the general public surrounding facilities.

Hazardous Waste Technician (at applicable operations locations):

  • Ensure the smooth transfer of materials to the dock hazardous waste storage area, including utilization of appropriate maintenance, documentation, equipment, labelling, and procedures.

  • Follow collective procedures for handling spills/emergencies, pour-up of materials, segregation of compatible materials, preparation for waste/containers for shipment, and forklift operation.

  • Support waste minimization programs/activities, and maintain an understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws to protect our community.

The hourly rate for this position in Arizona is $30.00

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED or 5+ years experience

  • 2-3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment

  • Self motivated to learn

  • Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements

  • Electro-mechanical aptitude

  • Able to understand and abide by stringent safety and quality rules

  • Display aptitude for controlling an emergency/high stress situation and performing problem solving actions properly and safely

  • Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 60 lbs

  • Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day

  • Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)

  • Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)

  • Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.
