Senior Accountant

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include cost analysis projects, maintaining the commission program, accounting software project management, external audit assistance, and system or process improvements in the accounting area.

Primary Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:

• Prepare month end journal entries
• Prepare and analyze commission reports
• Prepare monthly metrics and financial analysis
• Prepare annual budgets
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Reconcile alarm bills
• Assist in preparation of external annual audit work papers and the audit itself
• As this position develops, some managerial duties may be added

Requirements of Accounting Specialist:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a strong knowledge of GAAP is required.
• Three years of experience required; audit experience highly preferred.

Preferred:

• CPA license
